Another Quick update!!!
Izzie was diagnosed with the H1N1 this past week… and had some trouble shaking it… but she finally figured out a way!
See the video below, to see how she did while she had the flu!

Halloween 2009
It is the usual right of passage forthe kids to go out trick-or-treating on Halloween night and this year was no different!
We headed up to Salem, MA to my cousin Karen's house, who lives on Witch Way, in Salem in the neighborhood of Witchcraft Heights. And just to add a little more flavor to the Halloween spirit, it's right down the street from "Gallows Hill". You really can't get anymore "SALEM" than that!
We drove into Salem early taking the backroads to avoid as much traffic as we could. And if you're not from around here, believe me, there is plenty of traffic. With Halloween on Saturday this year, they expected to have 100,000+ visitors in the city for the "holiday".
We got to my cousin's house around 4:30, let the kids play for a bit and had some pizza and headed out around 6:15 for a night of Trick or Treating around the neighborhood with the kids.
Izzie was "Little Red Riding Hood" and Aidan, as "alert" as he was for the entire evening looked perfect as a "HOT DOG".
As responsible parents... we walked around with the kids with "frosty beverages" in hand. With the unseasonably warm weather it made for a fun and thirsty evening.
The crowds in the neighborhood were pretty mellow early, but by the time we were making our final rounds at close to 8 pm. Most houses were out of candy (lights off) and there were kids everywhere.
My Mom, who was at the door handing out candy for a good part of the night was over 100 visitors by 7 pm. We're guessing they easily had over 200 kids visit for Trick or Treating. A great night for sure.
Sandy insists we dress up next year with the kids... so we'll have to come up with a great "family" getup for all of us.
Enjoy the photos below!
